Chassis Panzergrau

Brushed today the chassis in Panzergrau, using since some months from time to time the Revell Aqua colors, close to my home I have a dealer where all of them are available. The mix is 50:50 with the Airbrush and the result is always good, fine surface and fast drying out and the price is good.

Chassis Sd.Kfz 222

Finished basic built from chassis, it took some work to put everything together, the Chassis was called „Einheitsfahrgestell I“ and a Horch Engine from Type 801 was mounted. The type A  had 75 PS and was used from 1936-1939,  the B variant 90 PS and used from 1940-1943.
The kit engine is nice detailed, from the engine 75% will be covered what a pity!
Chassis was brushed with Grey Primer from MIG.
Next Steps are Basic color like hull red or dark grey for pre shading will be brushed.

Merkava Diorama

Placed all together (Tank, roadblocks) on a Photoframe 30x20 cm, the glass was removed and a plastic floor was glued in.

Roadblocks

How to make roadblocks for your Diorama, the Roadblcoks are used as barrier for tanks, trukcs and other vehicles. Two or three of thme can close a whole street.

For my roadblocks I´m using plaster (Gypsum) and mould, the first mould was from plastic card scrtched built, the porblem was I used it only twice befor it break down complete,
the edge length is 30mm what is 1050mm in original.

LEGO was the solution, after the cubes can be re-shaped with a knife and at the corners I drilled
two holes where the hooks can be glued in.
